Women's Tennis Protects Home Court, Defeats Berkeley, 9-0

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - September 27, 2018 - The Pratt Institute women's tennis team cruised to victory Thursday evening against Berkeley College (NY), on the campus of Pratt, 9-0.

With the victory, the Cannoneers improve to 7-2, while the Knights fall to 0-1.

Pratt found success early during doubles play, as the duos of Amanda Twu and Melanie Kania, and Amy Young and Caroline Madden, both won 8-0.

The Cannoneers carried their strong play over to the singles portion of the match, as Maia Schlussel, Morgan Ferweda, Kania, and Madden all were victorious, without dropping a single game.

Up Next: Pratt will face Kean University on Saturday, September 29, at the USTA National Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 11 AM.
